FPCI together with Prof. Kuyoun Chung, Dr. Jagannath Panda, and Dr.Ahmad Rizky Mardhatillah Umar are proud to have a Virtual Public Discussion held on August 7, 2023 titled ‘In the Face of Great Power Rivalry: What do Middle Powers Think About the Existing International Order?’. The dialogue discussed the foreign policy positions and perspectives of three countries—South Korea, Indonesia, and India—toward the current international order. South Korea's stance is to maintain the status quo and oppose authoritarian states seeking to revise the existing order. Meanwhile, India aims to strengthen its influence in global affairs by promoting a multipolar world order. Lastly, as a middle power, Indonesia seeks to remain neutral and act as a bridge for smaller and middle-sized countries to actively participate in the international system.
