FPCI together with Prof. Feliciano de Sá Guimarães, Dr. Stefan Mair, and Prof. Harsh Pant are proud to have  co-organized Video Public Discussion held on October 21, 2024 through Virtual Public Discussion with the title North-South Middle Powers Recalibrating ‘Strategic Autonomy’ in a Multipolar World”.  The dialogue talked about the differences in perspectives between the Global North and the Global South. The Global South is striving to achieve strategic autonomy in navigating global dynamics, while middle-power countries in the North tend to be more independent in shaping their economic policies and adopt an approach of strategic solidarity— in other words, collective autonomy.
